High-Pressure Hydrogen Lamp Source

This lamp features a cold-cathode structure, consisting of a pair of nickel electrodes sealed within a hard glass envelope. When energized with high voltage, it emits characteristic hydrogen spectral lines, covering the ultraviolet to visible light range (190–400 nm). Key emission peaks include 656.279 nm (Hα, red), 486.133 nm (Hβ, cyan), 434.047 nm (Hγ, violet), and 410.174 nm (Hδ, near-UV).
